The job shadowing program aims to show students the options available around them. If a student wants to do something that is not very popular, like becoming a Math Coach, we are willing to work with them to see how this could be done.

The student shadows someone (doctor, engineer, dentist, hair specialist, professor, high school teacher, etc.) for about 5 days to truly see if that career is what they thought it was. The shadowing process will simply give the student an idea of what happens within that profession.

This might help to determine if they are suited for that particular career. We understand that sometimes people need time to grow and discover more talents, however shadowing could help in the process. The next thing we do is prepare them for the ACT and/or the SAT. We will help them with training in math, reading, writing, and science. This will help the students get very good scores so they can apply for full scholarships. Full scholarships do not depend on grades alone so we will provide volunteer opportunities and extra-curricular activities for the student.
